For those of you looking for the opportunity to squeeze in some exercise while in Philadelphia, there are plenty of scenic walking and jogging routes in and around the conference location at Penn’s Landing. The promenade along Penn’s Landing provides exercisers with lovely views of the Delaware River as well as various sights including several historic ships. For those who may be more venturous, the trail extends further north and south as this path is an extension of the East Coast Greenway with various other path connections along the way.

Just north of Penn’s Landing is the Race Street Pier, a historic shipping pier that was recently turned into a park. Replete with benches and trees for shady rest spots, the Race Street Pier offers striking views of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge as it crosses the Delaware River into Camden, New Jersey.
